It’s time for the annual Kidspace Children’s Museum Butterfly Release Festival. Each day at 2 p.m. over 500 Painted Lady butterflies are simultaneously released back to nature. Other butterfly activities throughout the day include: create and decorate butterfly wings at Flutterby’s Art Center, create antennae in the Kidspace Gardens, learn about the anatomy of a butterfly, and how a butterfly eats at the “Eat Like a Butterfly” activity.   You can raise a butterfly yourself (caterpillar adoption kits are available at the museum leading up to the festival) and take part in the release, or just watch the spectacle!

He has been reading the book Aladdin and decides to get his family together to act out the adventure story.
