It’s not too hard to find a train for little engineers to ride in L.A. (heck, there are 3 other trains in Griffith Park alone!), but none of the others are ones you get to straddle, Donald Duck style, to take your turn around the track.  Kids love it (but be forewarned, you have to be 34″ to ride).

It’s tons of fun for all train enthusiasts in the family, from the littlest Thomas fan to grandpa!  Be sure to make a day of it by visiting Travel Town right next door, for a whole afternoon of trains.
