The WVIA Is Bringing The Spirit Of The Holidays To Westwood Village And Hosting A Festive Family Day With A Free Screening Of  The Movie Elf On Saturday, December 8, 2018! Seating Opens At 4:00pm Movie Starts At Sundown, Approx. 6:30 p.m. Taking Place In The Street Of Broxton Ave In Between Weyburn And Kinross Ave. The fun kicks off at 4:00 p.m. on Broxton Ave with free pictures with Santa Claus (Buddy the Elf KNOWS HIM!), holiday-themed photo-booth, live music, kids crafts, hot cocoa and more! Join us for Meet Me Under the Fig Tree, Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows’ annual community holiday gathering under the historic Moreton Bay Fig Tree, for an afternoon filled with fun and festive frolics for the family. Celebrate the season with live entertainment, photos with Santa, seasonal crafts, a gingerbread house display, bouncy house, cookie decorating and snow! Sun. Event details.

A Southern California tradition for the past 13 years! This unique Nutcracker production by The Red  Chair, is an energetic rendition featuring young performers, ages 5-to-18, in principal and supporting roles along with adults. Amidst lavish sets and glittering costumes, a cast of over 100 will bring to life the enchanting storybook tale of a young girl’s magical Christmas Eve that takes her, and the audience, on a delightful and exciting journey. Disney’s Moana Jr
Moana Jr. the musical, hits the stage at Theatre 360, a non-profit children’s theatre that is proud to be invited to participate in the Disney Theatrical Productions Pilot Program. With popular numbers and a diverse blend of Polynesian cultures brought to life, this production is made up of a wonderful cast that has braved journeys made in their own lives including 11-year-old Karina Alvarez, who is a survivor of the recent hurricane Maria that hit Puerto Rico. Mayor’s Holiday Tree Lighting invites you to enjoy festive holiday music, light refreshments, arts and crafts and holiday-themed family fun. The Tree is lit at 6:00 pm sharp. Fri. Event details.


Malibu Christmas Woodie Parade
This year’s festive celebration will feature the most beloved, classic Woodie cars lining the streets of Malibu for the afternoon. The Woodie Parade will end at Malibu Village, where guests will enjoy live music by southern California party band, The Hodads, as well as festive holiday food and libations served.

Given the recent devasting fires in Malibu, the Woodie Parade will have a special meaning this year as the community comes together. Malibu Village will partner with the local Boys and Girls club to raise money for the Woolsey Fire Emergency Relief Fund. A booth will be set up at the village where parade-goers can make donations. Celebrate the holiday season while also giving back to the community. Sun. Event details.
