SnackNation Better Every Day 5k
SnackNation is hosting their inaugural Wellness Festival in Downtown Culver City. The 5k race will take runners through the streets of Culver and concludes at Media Park for an afternoon of celebrating with snacks provided by their partners, food trucks, live DJ-sets, Kids Corner with Yoga, Recovery Village with IV vitamin therapy plus massage station, and so much more! North Beach Playground Opening
Enjoy the newest universally accessible playground in Santa Monica, built for kids of all abilities. Renowned Silhouette Artist Karl Johnson
Third Generation Silhouette Artist Karl Johnson will be at Monica + Andy on to create hand cut silhouettes. Each one is cut freehand and takes just minutes. All ages are welcome, even the squirmy ones. Karl’s work has been featured in over 30 magazines including The O List in Oprah Magazine, People, and Elle Decor. He also has a large celebrity following and has created silhouettes for Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Lopez, Secretary of State John Kerry, Tom Cruise and many more. Westchester Arts & Music Block Party
Join the Westchester community for a day filled with art, music, food and fun! The Emerson Ave. Community Garden Club is hosting the third annual Westchester Arts & Music (WAM) Block Party — a free, day-long celebration filled with live music and dance, art, food and socializing. Emerson Ave. between 80th Street and 80th Place will be closed and the garden will be open for tours, art activities for all ages, and a diverse mix of music and dance performances, vendors and food trucks! Over three days, YoMo Los Angeles will welcome 9,000 school children from across Los Angeles to one huge showcase of science and technology. Outdoor Movie: A League Of Their Own

Located at downtown Los Angeles’ premier shopping and dining center, FIGat7th, this exhibit features artwork from LA-area artists including, but not limited to, Meena Khalili, Janne Larsen and Joshua Levine. dOGUMENTA is free and open to the PUP-lic and will feature artists’ take on the concerns, interests, and worldviews of canines. While dOGUMENTA is not by or about dogs, it is for them to do whatever it is they like! Whether they sniff, pee, or even eat the interactive multimedia works, dOGUMENTA is designed to be comFURtable for our favorite pups to be pups! Glendale Tech Week gets powered up by Wana at the Central Library and the young entrepreneurs of Los Angeles are the stars. See toddlers through teens show off their tech prowess and business savvy. Sample their products, hear their pitch, and “invest” in your favorites. Everyone goes home a winner, and someone goes home The Winner.
