Los Angeles Kids Weekend Events: Mar 1-3
This year March roars in like a lionfish… as the Santa Monica Aquarium celebrates it’s 10th Birthday with a big old party and you’re invited. We also have your invitations to a Chinese lantern festival (tell the kids it’s like in Tangled!) a Corvette celebration, a Festival of Whales and a beautiful horse show. It’s Read Across America weekend, too, so we have some storybooks come to life and other bookish delights.
Catch lantern fever and experience a re-created traditional village street fair with stage performances, interactive workshops, and special activities. Sat., 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Downtown. Free. All ages. Event details.
Corvette is as old as Grandpa! Check out 500 of the coolest Corvettes in the 60 year history of the car. And don’t forget to leave time to check out the Hot Wheels display. Sat., Various times. Miracle Mile. $3-$11. All ages. Event details.
