Based on the springtime Holi festivals in India, SPEF’s Color Festival brings people together to celebrate the arrival of spring with music, dancing, and an explosion of color. In addition to enjoying carnival-style games, food truck fare, live music, and other attractions, attendees gather for color tosses that fill the air with (non-toxic) powder in rainbow colors. This family-friendly event promises plenty of amusement for kids (little and big) and adults. Sat. Event details.
Get into the St. Paddy’s spirit by making your own lucky Leprechaun puppet! You can suit up your paper bag pal with an orange beard, golden buttons and a tip-top hat. And if you do a good job, he just might grant you three wishes. Good crafting fun for the whole family (RSVPs encouraged to ensure they have enough yarn and googly eyes). One Colorado has more festive (and free) Irish gigs and jigs going on in the Courtyard on St. Paddy’s Day. Sun. Event details.
