Boasting the largest heated hotel pool in Beverly Hills, this iconic hot spot certainly offers some high-class H2O! You and your glamour squad can chill out in style swimming around the incredibly chic Aqua Star Pool, known as one of the most famous splash spots in town. Rent a signature Beverly Hilton pool raft and float around in the very same water that Angelina Jolie jumped into moments after winning her second Golden Globe award. Before the day is done be sure to grab a burger and fries with your ravenous tots from Circa 55 overlooking the pool, then return home rested and red-carpet ready.

Le Parc Suite Hotel - West Hollywood

As far as roof deck pools go, this one is one of the more mellow swim sanctuaries (not as much of a Hollywood "scene" as some of the nearby hotels) making it a great place to unwind for a day. Snuggled in the middle of a quiet residential neighborhood just a block from the Sunset Strip, Le Parc day passes include access to their heated pool, fitness center, roof deck tennis courts and even comes with a $10 discount on valet parking! It's central location to just about most things fun make this hotel a perfect place to hang for the day before hitting up the Hollywood Bowl for one of their super kid-friendly Summer events!

InterContinental – Downtown

Pool with a view anyone? Bring the family to sunbathe among the skyscrapers with day passes to the InterContinental’s cabana-lined, open-air pool deck. Between the pool house, fire pits and separate children’s area (say no more!), there’s really something for everyone. Outside food and drink are strictly not allowed inside the pool area (leave the crackers at home), but your day pass to this unassuming oasis also includes a 10% discount on food and beverage either served poolside (yes, please!) or at No Dive Bar. If after all this, you still can’t bear the thought of leaving, cap off your day with a dip in the hot tub and a brick oven pizza dinner at Dekkadance restaurant on the 69th floor.

Fairmont Mirimar Hotel – Santa Monica

Sip and swim! Swirl cocktails (or mocktails for the kid crew) poolside just steps from the Pacific at this gorgeous hotel that blends contemporary style with unique historical charm. Day passes here give you and your water bugs all day access to luxurious amenities such as a spacious heated pool, comfy sun loungers (pop open an umbrella and give your toddler a swanky snooze), changing rooms and showers. After hours of splashing, take a lunch break at FIG restaurant which offers kids’ menu items such as mac & cheese or chicken sandwiches (and grab yourself a fish taco from the grown-up selections). Make sure to keep your stargazing eyes peeled for a familiar face or two as celebrities have been known to frequent the pool-adjacent Exhale spa.

Sportsmen’s Lodge - Studio City

Nestled right in the hustle and bustle of Studio City is the largest pool in the San Fernando Valley. Beat the heat at this legendary landmark that has been host to Katherine Hepburn and Clark Gable by diving into this urban oasis. Don’t bother packing the inflatables (no pool toys are allowed), but you might want to bring a few games for the kiddos to enjoy at one of the many outdoor tables between dips. Snacks can be ordered from the pool bar for hungry swimmers as well.
*Please note: the pool is currently undergoing renovations and should be back up and running by mid-July 2019. Please call ahead to purchase day passes and to check the pool schedule.

Westlake Village Inn - Thousand Oaks

Float amidst quiet luxury at this tucked-away resort just east of Thousand Oaks in the quaint upscale town of Westlake Village. Here you will love the true vacation feel of this pool which is nestled in the middle of 17 lush acres of botanical beauty. This may not be the largest resort pool around but it certainly is one of the most intimate! We highly recommend calling ahead to both purchase day passes and to confirm desired dates before arriving as there are often weddings and other large events scheduled around the gorgeous grounds.

Pool Hours: Mon.–Thurs. from 6 a.m.–10 p.m.
Cost: $40 per adult, $15 for kids 14 and under. Free for kids 2 and under.
Cabana Rental: $250 for the day and includes six bottles of water, a large plate of fruit and 4 complimentary mimosas. The cabana was recently renovated and can fit 7 people comfortably. 
Parking: Self-parking is free during the day.

Hilton – Universal City

Lights, camera, splash fun! Take your pint-size paddlers to the Hilton Universal City located just one block from Universal Studios Hollywood. The best part (aside from the large outdoor swimming pool and hot tub that will keep your kids busy dipping between the two) is you can head over to Universal Studios when you finally feel water-logged. Poolside dining is available from the Sierra Pool Bar and Grill or snag an iced coffee from the Coffee Corner in the main lobby on the way to the pool.
