“Can we make cupcakes?” Visions of frosting flung on walls, batter piles on the kitchen table, and sprinkles carpeting the floor enter your mind, as you start to shake your head. But a new stress-free solution lets you say “yes” to your Cupcake Wars obsessed little chef: Miss Melissa and her all-inclusive birthday cupcake parties that come to you.

Melissa, a passionate baker and actress with over 18 years working with children, has combined her talents to create Baking with Melissa. Melissa brings everything needed to host the tastiest birthday parties ever. And by everything, she means everything. She supplies all the dishes, measuring cups, baking sheets and ingredients needed (including homemade buttercream frosting—yum!). She even sets up tablecloths and some pretty décor to make the table look festive. All you need to provide is some counter space, an oven, sink and a table.  Then sit back, snap some photos, enjoy watching the kids have a blast and then sink your teeth into one of their delicious creations.

No Sweet Tooth?  No Problem!
Cupcakes not your kids’ thing? Melissa can also lead the baking of brownies, cookies, mini pies, holiday treats, and more. Or host a dinner party, and the kids cook their own dinner—pizzas & fruit skewers or a fiesta. (Bonus, after this one, they know how to make dinner, and can help you or eventually take care of one meal a week!)

Melissa’s parties are not only fun, they’re educational (sneaky, sneaky). Kids learn cooking techniques and practice math skills as they measure out their ingredients. While cakes are baking Melissa leads the group in fun food games and crafts, so you don’t have to worry about a single minutes worth of entertainment at the party.

Made to Order
From Beanie Boo to Pinkalicious to Pirates themes, Melissa will tailor cupcake decorating to your birthday kid’s interests.  And because she’s cooking in your home, you don’t have to worry about allergens cross-contaminating.  So if you have vegan, Kosher, gluten free or nut free needs, just mention it, and she’ll make sure your birthday babe can eat everything she brings.

Birthday party favors are built in, since Melissa brings beautiful keepsake boxes and a recipe card for each kiddo to take home, and you can customize it further and add take-home aprons for each young chef to keep.  She does table decor and of course, they eat what they bake, so there’s absolutely nothing you need to do, maybe making this the easiest party you ever threw.

Comes With Clean Up
But the best part? Melissa handles all of the dishes and clean up too, and with a smile. So you not only got out of working during the party, you hove nothing to do when all your little guests go home.

Packages start at $395 for 10 bakers, though she’s so awesome with kids, she can handle bigger groups with ease, and kids of all ages (5-15) can get their cook on.

Special offer for Red Tricycle readers: Get $25 off any party booked by January 1, 2017, and a free gift for the birthday child. (The party doesn’t have to take place by January 1st, just be scheduled.)
