I'M IN!

Taming of the Shrew

when: Aug 24, 2013 at 4:00 pm

where: Theatricum Botanicum, 1419 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd., Topanga, Ca

cost: $10-$35

ages: 6+

add to calendar: Google   iCal/Outlook

the scoop:

Is Kate a Shrew? Or is she a woman who speaks her mind? Is Petruchio a macho tough guy? Or is he someone who is strong enough in heart to see a great thing when it is in front of him.  Watch them fight, woo, and love with a glorious happy ending. There’s no more perfect setting than the leafy bower of Theatricum’s outdoor stage to experience Shakespeare.

Even kids that you might think are too young for a full Shakespeare production get a kick out of the teasing Kate and Petruchio – and surprisingly they really get some of the silly exchanges (“If I be waspish, best beware my sting”)!

Kids 6 and under are free.
