Honoring El Día de los Reyes Magos (Three Kings Day), one of the most cherished holiday traditions in the Latino community, Porto’s Bakery and Cafe is creating the largest-ever Rosca de Reyes in Los Angeles for a free community event that will serve Rosca slices paired with milk-based drinks. Los Angeles’ leading Latino panaderías (bakeries) are also joining to celebrate with the entire community and help keep the Día de Reyes Magos and Rosca de Reyes custom alive.
As part of the event, the California Milk Processor Board (CMPB) will make a $4,000 donation to two non-profit organizations – Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) and Homegirl Cafe – to help fund their educational and culinary programs.
