The big kids might be back at school, but the little ones are still around and ready to make the most of their solo time. Luckily, there’s so much to do in this city that you could go weeks without repeating the same activity twice. From Monday to Friday, flip through to find something fabulous to do every single day of the week!

Monday, Monday

Singing and Smoothies. Every Monday (and Thursday) morning ‪from 10:30-11 a.m. you can head to the Cow's End in Venice for a side of rocking food tunes served with your breakfast. Different artists, like Jennifer Paskow and Mista Cookie Jar, play kid-friendly tunes for free every week while you enjoy your healthy breakfast of oatmeal and smoothies. ‪34 Washington Blvd.,Venice, Online: thecowsendcafe.com

Get bouncy. Get your wiggles out with a little trampoline time made just for the younger jumpers. Sky Zone hosts toddler jump time every Monday (Wednesday & Friday) morning ‪from 10 a.m.-noon for kids 5 and under. $14 for parent & child. 1625 W 190th, Gardena, 310-323-4500, Online: skyzone.com/torrance/programs/toddler-time

Move like a monkey. Start the week off in zen-mode and bring your junior yogis to Little Monkeys, a Zooga Yoga class just for kids 18 months to 3 years and their parents. Little ones will discover the basics of yoga as they learn fun animal poses and work on coordination, balance, and mindfulness. Classes for different ages and levels, including adults are available throughout the week. 11054 Washington Blvd., Culver City, 310-839-6642, Online: zoogayoga.com

Movie Mondays. For those sleepy Mondays where all you want to do is curl up and watch a movie, head to the theater and do exactly that. ‪Monday Morning Mommy Movies at Pacific Theaters features a matinee showing of current new releases ‪at 11 a.m. every Monday. The screenings are made just for moms toting along young babies, so you won’t get any glares if your little one starts to cry, and the lights are not quite as dark or the sound quite as loud, so little ones aren't scared. Every week features a new film. Various locations including The Grove, Glendale and Canoga Park. Online: pacifictheatres.com/monday-morning-mommy-movies

One of the best. LA is filled with libraries that host excellent story time programs, but the beautiful Beverly Hills Library is easily one of the best backdrops for a few books and a rousing round of The Wheels on the Bus. On Mondays book lovers 18 months & up can hear stories and sing songs at Mother Goose Storytime ‪at 10 a.m. Afterwards stick around to check out some books or play in the toy room, where kids can peer out the window at the Fire Station across the street. ‪444 N. Rexford Dr., Beverly Hills, Online: beverlyhills.org/exploring/beverlyhillspubliclibrary
