At the Zimmer Children’s Museum by ShareWell, kids are welcome to join in a community of learners who believe that playtime and hands-on interaction are keys to creating well-rounded and compassionate kiddos. Sweet, huh?
The museum welcome more than 85,000 visitors annually. Located in the Jewish Federation Building on Museum Row in Los Angeles, the museum features 10,000 square feet of interactive exhibits and a robust schedule of programs, classes and camps for children ages 0-8. The museum is designed to provide children and families from diverse backgrounds with opportunities to engage in compassionate play and learning experiences. Visitors explore common values, form meaningful connections to their own heritage and discover a shared vision of a world that promotes kindness, justice and responsibility.
Although the cost of museum admission and membership are purposely low in order to maximize inclusion, our ‘We All Play’ Access Initiative, provides free community days, subsidized admission and memberships, need-based scholarships, free field trips for Title I schools and Open Door Days for children with special needs.
Moreover, the Zimmer Children’s Museum by ShareWell is a veritable child’s heaven complete with a ball pit, waterways, blocks & bricks, and imagination stations for some good old-fashioned fun.
