The internet recently blew up with the news that Kim and Kanye’s baby has a personal stylist. Over the top, right? Maybe you’ll reconsider the next time you’re trying to hunt down your kids’ Thanksgiving outfits while your two-year-old is hiding in a clothing rack and your five-year-old is playing Russian roulette with a revolving door. Now your little ones can enjoy the same high-fashion perks — with no stylist fee — thanks to Mac & Mia, a new online children’s clothing shop that does the curating for you and ships the clothes to your door.

What It Is
Mac & Mia is a web-only kids’ shopping service staffed by stylists who curate looks based on customer style profiles. Use it to buy your little one (ages newborn to six years) unique, off-the-beaten-path clothes like the ones you’d find in great independent boutiques.

How It Works
Go to the website and enter your email address to sign up for an account. Mac & Mia will email you a link that you can click to complete your profile — you’ll provide everything from basic info like your shipping and credit card details to specifics about how you prefer to dress your child. (Some questions you’ll be asked: is she sporty, preppy, bohemian or edgy? What colors and types of prints do you like or avoid? Do you need dressy or casual looks?)

A Mac & Mia stylist will reach out with follow-up questions, then send you a box of clothes, shoes and accessories she thinks you’ll love. When it arrives, you decide which pieces to keep and which ones to send back. Shipping is free both ways, and you’ll only be charged for the clothes you want. Too easy.

The Styles
When you open your box, you’re likely to pull out adorable duds by the likes of organic, LA-based brand Go Gently Baby, funky urban-inspired looks from OmamiMini, made-in-Spain classics from Tocoto Vintage, NYC-based Kallio’s dresses created from recycled menswear and others.

The prices are far from bargain-bin — you’ll spend between $250 and $500 for seven to ten pieces if you buy everything in the box. But then again, your baby won’t be wearing the same pumpkin playsuit you saw in all your friends’ fall family photos. An added bonus? Mac & Mia pays close attention to environmental and workplace standards when choosing its vendors.
