From the royal baby bump watch to speculation over where (and of course, when) she’ll deliver, Meghan Markle’s pregnancy has been buzz-worthy and fun to follow. For royal fam fans, it seems like we’re all wondering one thing: “How is she really doing?”
Well it looks like we have an answer. During a recent visit to Brinsworth House in London, the Duchess of Sussex spoke about her pregnancy with retired actress Josephine Gordon. Markle, a former actress herself, reportedly told Gordon that she’s “very good” and feeling “very pregnant today.”

The Duchess of Sussex this morning visited The Royal Variety Charity’s residential nursing and care home Brinsworth House, to join the residents and staff as they enjoyed a festive themed morning 🎄 The Royal Variety Charity, of which The Queen is Patron, assists those who have worked professionally in the entertainment industry and are in need of help and assistance as a result of old age, ill-health, or hard times. Along with talking briefly about her pregnancy, the Duchess also was seen cradling her baby bump. Even though it’s perfectly normal (and aren’t royals normal people too?) to gently touch or rest a hand on your own growing belly, it seems like Markle’s totally normal baby bump cradling has garnered her some rather contemptuous attention from mom-shamers online.
But sadly it looks like this is the last chance we’ll get to see if Markle cradles or doesn’t cradle her bump—at least for a while: Markle’s trip to Brinsworth House is the Duchess’s last scheduled public outing until after the holidays.
