Where do you find new mommy friends? Come on. You know it isn’t always easy. Maybe you’re stuck at home. Or maybe all the other mamas at preschool just won’t give you the time of day. Hey, it’s okay if you don’t connect with every other mother out there. Well, one mama met her “BMFF (best mom friend forever)” at Target, and then lost her. Check out the hilarious Facebook post that will be all too real to many of you.

Nikki Pennington’s “missed connections” post is making the social media rounds. The blogger, at Grief to Hope, crafted a just-so-perfect post that is probably pretty familiar to most mamas.

The “To The Mom In Target” post features a detailed (mock) personals listing that paints a story of the lone mom who is randomly shopping at the retailer at 7 p.m. on any given night.

She’s got on yoga pants and flip-flops. She has a messy bun. And she is basically you. Yep. We’ve all been there. Bleary-eyed and zombie walking through Target, kind of pretending it’s a grand night out. The kids aren’t there. So that kind of, sort of qualifies as a night on the town.

Pennington’s post ends, “Maybe I’ll see you again, same time, same aisle and this time we can wander around aimlessly in Target together for our moms night out.” Sound familiar?
