As with every London Fashion Week, we can always expect to see a preview of hot new fashion trends coming down the pike. This year, a very special look may have stolen the show, as one model wore a breast pump on the runway, making her catwalk like so many other moms’ own in-between-work-meetings moments. Read on for all the amazing details of this very special runway show indeed.

Model and mom Valeria Garcia gave birth to son Anton last June. And when she walked down the runway for Marta Jakubowski spring 2019 show, she was wearing something that was unexpected—and we’re not talking about  Jakubowski’s crazy lace hats, or Garcia’s finely tailored black pantsuit and lacy black bra. It was Garcia’s breast pumps that stole the show.

Garcia donned a pair of hands-free breast pumps made by Elvie. As if the hands-free feature wasn’t amazing enough, Elvie is also the first silent wearable breast pump—and totally revolutionizing the way women can continue to nurse their babies. Instead of having to sit hooked up to a suction cup-based machine, the Elvie Pump fits comfortably into your bra, as Garcia so deftly demonstrated while stomping down the runway.

The pump also connects to a smartphone app, letting moms view how much they’ve pumped and also track their pumping history. But it gets better: Forget about buttons and timers—you can control this pump from your phone.

Founder and CEO of Elvie Tania Boler said, “Being a new mother can be incredibly stressful. We spoke to a lot of women about the struggles they experienced post-pregnancy and it became obvious that outdated pumping technology was a real obstacle for women wanting to provide breast milk for their baby.”

Boler added, “Our aim is to transform the way women think and feel about themselves by providing the tools to address the issues that matter most to them, and Elvie Pump does just that.”

First there was the model breastfeeding her baby on the runway—and now models can straight up walk the runway with breast pumps. If there’s anything we’ve learned from the fashion houses, it’s that there’s always going to be one look that never goes out of style: working motherhood.
