In the realm of rad DIY-ers, one woman is definitely taking top honors for her genius creation. Yep, this mom made a Black Panther Shuri doll. And we’re super-impressed. Okay, okay, so there is an official Shuri doll that you can go to a store (or more likely browse online) and buy. But the completely creative crafter behind the YouTube channel My Froggy Stuff turned Barbie into a glorious version of the Black Panther character.

So Shuri is a princess. Right? And there are some pretty bad*ss Disney princesses. Hey, they’re not all blond hair and big boobs. Technically Star Wars’ Princess Leia is a Disney princess. And then there are the cartoons who are much more than just cuties — such as Pocahontas and Mulan. That makes it pretty fitting for Princess Shuri to have her very own Barbie.

Given that your kiddo can’t find a Shuri Barbie, dressed in her traditional Wakandian style, in a store or online, My Froggy Stuff’s idea is absolute awesomeness. The crafty mom customized a Princess Tiana doll, transforming her into all kinds of Wakandian cool. She removes the original dolls hair, replaces it with yarn braids, and then moves on to the clothes. This mama doesn’t use ready-made doll clothes. Nope. She creates her own dress, adding accents and completely custom makeup.

Oh, but My Froggy Stuff’s video tutorial doesn’t stop there. She even creates a techy lab background for the STEM princess!
