Last summer, Charity Grace LeBlanc caught plenty of parents’ attention when she posted an Instagram video of herself dying her tot’s hair hot pink. Since her initial post, the video has received more than 1.4 million views and thousands of comments — both good and bad. The mama commented, “What do you guys think!? Would you let your daughter do this!?” on her post, opening her video clip to debate (and that’s putting it nicely).

While some people didn’t exactly have nice things to say about an adult mother dying her very young daughter’s hair, there were also more than a few Instagrammers who came to her defense. One commenter wrote, “Why do people get triggered about her dying her kids hair, if the kid wanted her hair dyed with SEMI-PERMANENT VEGAN HAIR DYE let her dye it.”

And that’s exactly what LeBlanc did. In a recently posted Facebook video, the mama wrote, “We get so many questions about City’s pink hair so here’s another tutorial on how we did it!!” The clip shows little City and her Arctic Fox hair color. According to LeBlanc’s post, the hair color is vegan, cruelty-free and safe for kids.

Would you dye your young child’s hair a wild color (temporarily)? Tell us why or why not in the comments below.
