1. Enjoy a Performance of “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion”
Anna, Elsa and Olaf fans rejoice! Now open in Disney California Adventure park is “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion,” a new stage show that tells the emotional story of Anna and Elsa in an exciting theatrical interpretation for the stage. The show is complete with elaborate costumes and sets, stunning special effects, awesome production numbers and some fun surprises.

“Frozen – Live at the Hyperion” is an exceptionally large production with an opening cast and crew of more than 200, six full musical numbers and a 2,200-square-foot video wall that combines for an unforgettable theatrical experience. There are approximately four shows offered throughout the day, and is perfect for even the youngest of theater-goers.

2. Take Flight on Soarin’ Around the World
One of the newest attractions to hit Disney California Adventure park is Soarin’ Around the World. Riders board the “airplane” and take off to see breathtaking scenes from locations around the world. You’ll feel like you’re flying directly over the snowy peak of the Matterhorn in the Alps and glide along the Great Wall of China. Riders will journey through the majestic buttes of Monument Valley, hop over the top of the Great Pyramids of Egypt and across spectacular Sydney Harbour. Soarin’ Around the World is not only a scene for the eyes; so pay attention the scents as you soar through each location. This ride replaces the popular Soarin’ Over California, but we think you’ll love this flight even more!

Insider’s Tip: If you want to avoid a pre-flight meltdown with small travelers, grab a Fast Pass since the lines run long and there’s a waiting period before you’re seated for take off.

3. Take a Ride on Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters
Got a Cars fanatic on your hands? You’ll definitely want to make time to check out Cars Land in Disney California Adventure park; especially the newest attraction: Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters. This fun-filled ride features miniature Italian roadsters that look just like 1950s micro cars. Kiddos will love hoping on a car and enjoying the ride as they move to upbeat music and Luigi’s signing in a dance across a trackless “dance floor.” It’s a ride you don’t want to miss!

Insider’s Tip: This ride, along with Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, are perfect for the younger Cars fans. Don’t forget to check out the Mater statue for a photo. And stop by Flo’s V8 Cafe for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and Cozy Cone Motel for a frozen treat.

4. Experience the Magic of Disneyland’s Diamond Celebration Before It Ends
If you haven’t been part of the Disneyland Diamond Celebration, make sure you visit the park before it ends Sept. 5, 2016. Paint the Night at Disneyland is an incredible parade that features dozens of performers and characters, and nine giant floats illuminated with more than 1.5 million LED lights that flash and glow in time with the music.

The fun doesn’t end once the parade concludes. Stick around to experience the Disneyland Forever fireworks show. Sleeping Beauty Castle and the buildings on Main Street are transformed into movie screens, projecting animated images from beloved Disney movies such as The Jungle Book, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and Frozen onto their facades. Throw in music, laser lights, inflatables and fireworks, and you’ve got one magical experience.

Insider’s Tip: In between the action, head over to Disney California Adventure for World of Color: Celebrate the Wonderful World of Walt Disney. This colorful creation is projected over the park’s water screen and takes guests on Walt Disney’s journey from pioneering animator to award-winning film maker to theme park visionary. The show includes music, scenes from classic Disney films, old clips featuring Walt Disney and narration by Mickey Mouse.
