Your kiddo is a little superhero in the making. They’re all about Marvel movies and they can’t stop talking about their own superpowers. Well, now they just might get their chance to show off those super-skills with Hasbro’s cool new toy. Their new Marvel Avengers: Infinity War Hero Vision Iron Man AR Experience puts your child at the center of the action, combining dress-up play and technology into one massive bundle of awesomeness.

So how does this augmented reality experience work? Well, your child gets a mask and a handpiece gauntlet. These are the dress-up parts. Okay, so even though these look like pretend play gear, they’re so much more. A companion app (available for Android and iOS) transforms what would be just costume pieces into a VR headset. Yes, that’s right, you put your phone into goggles that fit into the Iron Man mask.

After your little Tony Stark is all suited up, complete with smartphone ‘eyes’, you place AR markers around the room. The gauntlet lets your child put their arm out, see it in the AR world and either shoot at enemies or protect themselves.

The AR package, which will be available this spring, is priced at $49.99.
