With all of the reboots that have been hitting both the big and small screens lately, Emily Blunt in the new Mary Poppins teaser trailer isn’t just one in a crowd of many. Nope. It’s not a reboot—it’s a sequel!

Among all the glitz and glamour of the Academy Awards came the teaser for the not-so-soon to be released flick. So if you weren’t already getting your fill of film, the trailer for this magical movie probably hit the spot. But if you missed it, check out what you need to know about Disney’s Mary Poppins!

Okay, so again, this is not a reboot of the original. It’s a whole new movie, starring Emily Blunt in the title role — along with the beyond-talented Lin-Manuel Miranda. Instead of just inserting a new generation of celebs into an already-established script, this version of the childhood fave is a completely different film.

The sequel starts 20 years after the original left off. The title kid-characters, Jane and Michael, are now adults. Not only are they grown-up, but they’re parents now too. In a tragic turn, Michael’s wife passes away and he (and his family) need help. Enter Blunt’s Mary Poppins.

Along with Blunt and Miranda, Mary Poppins Returns also features super-stars such as Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Emily Mortimer, Dick Van Dyke (not reprising his original role, but playing Mr. Dawes Jr.) and Angela Lansbury.

If you’re completely excited about the beloved Mary Poppins’ return, sorry you’ll need to wait. This sequel’s release date isn’t until Christmas 2018.
