The impressive Carnegie Kids series will get more soulful this month when the city's own Shine & the Moonbeams take the stage with powerful R&B songs about the joys and struggles of everyday family life: friendship, bullies, embracing your uniqueness and finding your place in the world. If you haven't seen Shawana Kemp & Co. live yet, now is your chance before the summer heat comes and the summer crowds gather for the city's brilliant outdoor concert-in-the-parks series.
