Tired of shopping in the same spots all year? Take your kids to some fun pop-up stores and markets setting up shop around NYC for the holidays. Revisit some favorites like the holiday markets or check out a few new spots. The temporary shops below are fun for the whole family, and a great chance to stock up on some unique gifts for everyone on your list. Just remember—these shops won’t be here for long!

The ShopUp

While other popup shops try to make the experience family-friendly, the ShopUp is a shop especially created for kids and their parents. At this kid-oriented holiday shop (located in the same spot as the Brooklyn Holiday Bazaar) you'll find small local businesses peddling their wares: stylish clothes for tots made from natural and sustainable ingredients, handmade eco-friendly toys, and various trinkets and accessories made especially with children and the environment in mind. As you shop, the kids can partake in fun crafts and get their faces painted by Mischevous Goddess, and if you get the munchies you'll find some delicious goodies for sale from the likes of Gorilla Cheese, Stuf'd, and White Moustache.
