As a New York City parent, each day is an adventure. From Little Italy to Koreatown, you and your kids can explore the sights and sounds of cultures from around the world, right outside your own doorstep. Now, Carnegie Hall wants to put your favorite city on the stage with their new family concert, My City My Song. Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Two colorful, participatory performances—Sat., May 12 at noon and 3 p.m.—provide children with the opportunity to discover music from different parts of the world found right in their own city!
  • Artists include Sofía Rei and Sofia Tosello (Argentine folk songs from both urban and rural traditions), Martha Redbone (Native American music and dance), Sbongiseni Duma and Tshidi Mayne (South African Zulu Music).
  • Carnegie Hall presents some of the best artists in the entire world on its stages and the family concerts introduce your kids to music they will love for their whole lives.
  • Tickets start at just $10, which means you can bring the kids, the grandparents and even your neighbor.

All this at one of the most famous concert halls in the world? Yes, please.
