ABOUT US
Spoke Contributor Network
We are inviting music loving kids of all ages to join Lloyd H. Miller of the renowned children’s band the Deedle Deedle Dees for an outdoor sing-along concert inspired by the plants and wildlife of the Discovery Garden. Learn original new songs and revisit old favorites about the inhabitants of the Discovery Garden’s marsh, woodland, and meadow. This multilingual music hour will celebrate the diversity of Brooklyn’s musical traditions, drawing from hip hop, Latin jazz, salsa, soca, klezmer, and Bollywood as we sing about the diversity of the natural world. Children of all ages can join their voices and play along with instruments, and then get out into the Garden to water the vegetables and explore.
