Look: it’s not like NYC is in need of another Halloween celebration; there is, admittedly, a lot going on. But this one is a bit out of the ordinary and looks especially fun and inclusive. (And the star performers will be giving one-minute makeovers in the lobby, so that’s hard to beat.) Read on for the scoop on this not-so-Disney celebration for kids of all genders and ages!

Once Upon a Drag: Drag Queens and Fairy Tales is a performance/costume party for kids of all genders and ages, featuring eight of NYC’s brightest drag queens, on Sunday October 29 at 3 p.m.
The show features new and improved versions of favorite fairy tales, adapted to teach life lessons that are relevant to today’s kids. Everyone is encouraged to dress as their favorite fairy tale character to join in on the fun.

No costume? No worries! The drag queens will be giving one-minute-makeovers in the lobby starting at 2 pm. (Your kid will have never looked so good.)
Headliners Hard to Resist
Among the performers making appearances are the inspired Brita Filter, Jasmine Rice, Holly Boxsprings, Ritzy Bitz, Jada Valenciaga, Jan Sport, Rosé, and Lagoona Bloo. Director Vincent Cooper oversees the magic.
