Learning about healthy habits has never been so much fun! Both parents and kids will be delighted to spend the day playing foosball, shooting hoops, dancing, testing their fast pitch skills, and enjoying more interactive areas to keep the whole family on the move. More fitness activities, cooking demonstrations, healthy food samplings, games, book signings, and even a super-powered vegetable superhero puppet show from Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign will keep everyone entertained. Families will also have the opportunity to get more involved in helping to end hunger in their community by participating in a “repacking” activity where children and their parents can pack a box of donated goods for families’ in-need that will go straight to the Food Bank For New York City. Tickets are available online at http://nycwff.org/funandfit or by calling 866.969.2933 (phone sales open Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST).
