Mission Solvers – Kids-Only Escape Game
Mission Solvers games are geared towards children ages 8-14. Their games have 2-8 players go on a 45 minute adventure – completing puzzles, solving riddles, manipulating objects, and opening locks in order to solve the Mission. A Puppet Performance
Liz Parker and Rachel Sullivan created this Manhattan production after a visit to the Tenement Museum on the Lower East Side where they learned of the old apartments’ many layers of wallpaper, each applied by an immigrant family. Set within a tenement whose interior is plastered with 40 layers, this show uses masks, toy-theater techniques and puppets designed by Spica Wobbe to imagine the proud and perilous histories of the building’s Italian, Jewish and Irish occupants. Designed specifically to engage younger museumgoers, F.A.M. (Family Art Magic) is a collaborative program that invites children ages 4-6 and adult companions to explore the world through art.
