It may seem like the biggest Mother’s Day cliché (next to corner deli flowers) but we’ve yet to meet an NYC mom who would be bummed about being treated to brunch on May 14th. But, in a city that’s teeming with brunch spots, it may feel impossible to pick just the right one. Not to worry. We did the taste-testing for you and, behold, our list of more than a dozen places the mom in your life will absolutely love. Bonus: We’ve paired each with a nearby spa: The ultimate Mother’s Day double feature!

For a Regal Experience: Villard

Any mom invited to brunch at Villard, the restaurant at the Lotte New York Palace hotel in Midtown, is sure to feel like royalty. And that’s just when mom sits down and stares upward at the exquisite gold gilt ceilings. Next, she will be brought a glass of something sparkly and handed homemade macarons from the in-house Pomme Palais, to take home. And that’s before brunch, featuring eggs benedict, lemon mascarpone pancakes and brioche pudding French toast, is even served. Brunch begins at 11:30 and reservations are strongly recommended.

Chill: Pop a few blocks downtown to the Oasis Day Spa for  Hunny Bunny Vanilla Full Body Scrub ($80/30 minutes) or bliss out with the Lavender Sea Salt Scrub ($80/30 minutes). All body scrubs are performed on an invigorating multi-showerhead European Vichy Shower!
