Alice Perry - Rediscover NYC

During the summer, I love to take my son to old standby New York City places and institutions. We rediscover them together, and I see them with new – that is, his – eyes. Our favorite adventures (and he freely agrees to this) have centered on Central Park. Last week, we visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art, but this time we dove deep into the Met’s collection and stumbled upon the enchanting Astor Chinese Court Garden in the Asian Art section. Afterwards, we ventured into Central Park and climbed the narrow staircases of Belvedere Castle. We ended out journey by exploring the much-storied and mysterious “The Ramble” in Central Park (a first for me). It’s thrilling for me to share my love of NYC and all of its adventures with my son.
