Unless you work in Times Square, it can be easy to forget that NYC is a major family tourist destination. The city’s hotels, however, do not, and that’s good news for both resident and visiting clans. Whether you’re planning a staycation, researching a fantasy birthday experience or want some out of town kids to get the white glove treatment, these spots go out of their way to offer over-the-top amenities and other goodies for junior guests. Click through to see NYC’s most kid-friendly hotels!

For Midtown peace and quiet

You’ve probably walked by the Omni Berkshire Place a bunch of times but you may not know that it’s one of the most child-friendly hotels we’ve seen yet. Over the summer, they ran Friday night flicks outside at 8 p.m. with cold lemonade and popcorn at the ready, the lobby teemed with kids from all over the country and, best of all, there’s an all-day kids’ menu for ordering in. Who could complain with penne pasta, chicken strips, mac and cheese and kids breakfast, from oatmeal to pancakes, just a quick dial away.

Rates start at $249/night
