You never really need a reason to have some professional photos taken of your kid or family, but cooler temps, fall foliage and impending holidays are all good ones. (Capturing that fleeting newborn period is of course, another.) One of our favorite NYC photographers is Raquel Frechette, whose work, while beautiful, also feels fun, fresh and organic. She describes her shooting style as “organic, casual and focused on fun," and likes to interact with subjects to create moments that make for great pictures in urban spaces. Poses and studio shots are not her style; in its place you'll find beautiful lighting and genuine emotion.
