the scoop:

This year, the festival is presenting over 100 films, representing wildlife from over 35 nations including Australia, Botswana, Costa Rica and more. Screenings range from full-length features such as Adam Leipzig’s and Jo Ruxton’s A Plastic Ocean, chronicling the impact of plastic pollution on marine life, to animated shorts such as Francesca Cook’s Faraji the Elephant, a stop motion picture illustrating the dangers faced by elephants. With many films complemented by talkbacks and panel discussions, the festival provides a transformative cultural and educational experience.
