All-Inclusive Awesomeness

Upon arrival, your kids will be handed their very own glass of bright green, drinkable slime (it's really just a vanilla-flavored slushy loaded with green food coloring) while the grownups will get their own flute of champagne. Not a bad way to start a vacation! But the simple touch of getting a refreshingly fun beverage as you check in speaks volumes to the kind of all-inclusive touches you'll find throughout the property.

Whether its gourmet dining—and there are 12 on-site dining experiences from which to choose (in addition to gourmet room service available 24/7)—to your family's fun-in-the-sun vacation style, there really is something for every kind of traveler here. Character meals and encounters keep your littlest Nickelodeon fans thrilled while bigger kids can chill out at Just Kidding, the resort's on-site drop-off activity center. If you're really looking to relax and chill, the Vassa Spa is a must—and they even have spa packages to include your tweens and teens in all the pampering, too!

Yes, You Really Can Stay at SpongeBob's House!

Your littlest SpongeBob fans will have their minds blown with a stay in the Pineapple Villa, aka SpongeBob's swanky Caribbean digs. There's only one of these beauties at the resort, but there are three other Super Pool Villas that offer the exact amenities, just without the signature pineapple entrance. These 1,500-square-foot, 2-bed, 3-bath villas each include their own infinity pool, lush garden, private outdoor shower, butler service and a reserved cabana at the beach.

Unwind—or Have Fun—in Serious Style

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana has plenty of accommodations to suit every type of budget and vacation style. Besides the Pineapple and Pool Super Villas, you can stay at one of the resorts three different types of suites: Swank Suites (good for families of four), Flat Suites (apartment-style suites) or Pad Suites (best for couples of small families). Each of these suites categories also have Swim Up options as well.

Suites feature one king or Two double beds, a pull-out sofa, dining room, TV, play area and a spacious balcony with sitting area. The swim-up suites have everything just listed with the added benefit of having a pool right at your back door, just off your terrace complete with lounge seats. These smaller pools are at the base of the suite buildings and are for guests staying in the swim-up suites only.

Gourmet Inclusive Dining That's Out of This World

Whether or not you're a foodie, you are going to love the Gourmet Inclusive dining experience at Nickelodeon Punta Cana. If you're kiddo is a picky eater, you're going to love the dining here even more, simply from the huge variety of dining options. Parents can let their food imagination take flight to sample some truly spectacular dining while there's plenty of inspired takes on kid-friendly favorites for your most discerning travel companions.

You'll find Sugarcane, a marketplace-style restaurant, one of your best bests for family meals with its wide variety of foods inspired by the Caribbean. We also loved our dinners at reservation-only restaurants like Interstellar, the resort's space-themed restaurant, and Wok Wok, which offered an impressive menu of Asian-fusion dishes. The dining options are almost endless and the food is prepared with all ages in mind. With 12 restaurants on site and 24-hour room service, there's not chance you'll find yourself feeling hungry.

Character Moments They Won't Soon Forget

Yes, you will get to meet SpongeBob. Kids will love the Pajama Jam character breakfast at Zest, a buffet-style restaurant right on the beach—where they can meet (and dance) with Spongebob, Patrick, Dora, Marshall, Chase and many more Nick Jr. characters. And if Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are your kids thing, there's a TMNT Turtle Power Breakfast, too.

Get Your Morning Caffeine Fix

Self-serve frosted donuts, anyone? Gourmet Italian coffee and handmade macarons? Um, yes please. At Doppio Coffee and Tea, the resort's uber-chill coffeehouse, you can fight off your jet lag or just get your morning started with some seriously delicious coffee and pastries. If you're itching to get out onto the beach or just need a quick breakfast, Doppio was our go-to meal stop to get our days started.

Fun for All Ages at Nickelodeon Place

Nickelodeon Place is just across the street from the hotel side of the property and easily-accessible by one of the resort's many golf carts, where it's kid central. Aqua Nick offers guests a massive water play area complete with two large pool areas, four slides, a lazy river, water cannons and more where kids can let really let loose and have some pool-side fun.

When it's time to take a break from all the fun and grab some grub, Aqua Bites, the on-site dining location at Nickelodeon Place, is the perfect for us to grab snacks, drinks or even a meal, without having to leave that side of the resort. And the NICK kNACKS souvenir shop is perfect for grabbing some Paw Patrol goggles or Nickelodeon Slime sunglasses to take home.

You Don't Want to Miss Out on Slime Time

No trip to Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana is complete without slime—and our Editor's son was in for quite the surprise! Every day, a lucky few guests are selected for the ultimate Nickelodeon honor in a "slime lottery" at the Slimulator: it's a photo opportunity and an experience you and your family won't soon forget. There's also a Mass Sliming every day at Aqua Nick, too, where guests can all get slimed at once under a massive (and we mean massive) bucket of slime. Don't worry—you basically rinse off right there in the big splash pool area after it's over. You can also purchase a private Sliming package for up to four people for just $85 USD.

How to Get In on All the Fun

If your family is ready to experience all the fun for themselves, you can count on pretty amazing weather year-round—but if you're looking for a particularly unique experience, consider going during September and October, when Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana unveils its awesome Nick Jr. Friends Event, with experiences including a Friendship Fiesta and story time with Dora the Explorer, a PAW Patrol Scavenger Hunt and even a Shimmer & Shine Street Fest, complete with "magic potion" juice for all those in attendance.

Guests who stay Oct. 21 to 31 will be in for a super rare treat—or trick! Dress up as your favorite Nickelodeon character for the costume parade during Nick-Or-Treat Halloween or carve your very own pineapple, Caribbean jack o'lantern-style. For stays Sep. 1 through Oct. 31, 2018, your family can take advantage of up to 55 percent savings at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, with the bonus of kids getting to stay free; call 1-(844)-733-NICK or visit www.nickresortpuntacana.com to book your stay now.

Getting to the Dominican Republic is pretty straightforward, but it is international travel so make sure you have those passports ready!
