If there’s anyone most deserving of a free vacation, it’s teachers. If you think your teacher could use one, Norwegian Cruise Line wants to treat those hard-working educators with free cruise trips!

Just in time for Teacher Appreciation Week in May, Norwegian Cruise Line is rolling out a campaign to help students show some gratitude for their teachers who spread “the joy of learning.” Now through Apr. 12, 2019, anyone in the United States or Canada can nominate their favorite teacher to win a trip on the Norwegian Joy.

“Travel is a powerful means of education. It brings people closer to each other and to diverse cultures around the world,” said Andy Stuart, president and chief executive officer of Norwegian Cruise Line in a statement. “Through our Norwegian Cruise Line Giving Joy campaign, we celebrate the power of education and travel, and reward teachers who have taken responsibility for our future, our children, and who lean into that responsibility with all they’ve got.”

Once a teacher is nominated anyone can vote for them or invite others to vote via social media sharing. After Apr. 12, the 15 finalists will be chosen to win a seven-day cruise for two, as well as airfare and accommodations to an award ceremony where one teacher will win a $15,000 grand prize for their school.
