Kids playing in cosmetics is serially cute. Always. So Pink’s Instagram of her daughter playing with her makeup is obviously adorable. Oh, and if you’re thinking that Pink’s post is in any way detracting from her totally pro-girl empowerment ways, stop right there. It’s just a simply sweet pic of her creative daughter playing with a makeup table filled with cosmetics we’d all loooove to have.

Of course, little Willow certainly isn’t the first celeb kiddo to get artistic with a makeup set. Last year celebs such as Jessica Simpson and Tori Spelling got trolled on social media for posting pics of their little ones with mama’s makeup on. Yeah, yeah, we get it — some people don’t think kids should wear makeup. But it’s not exactly, or rather it’s not anything, like these children are painting their faces to look like miniature adults. Come on, it’s all in good fun. And how many of us mamas dabbed our own mother’s makeup on when they weren’t looking?

If you caught Pink’s awesomely amazing 2017 MTV VMA Video Vanguard award speech, you know that the performer is all about empowering her daughter. In her speech, Pink talks about how 6-year-old Willow said, “I look like a boy with long hair.” And what did Pink say in response? Nothing. But she did make her daughter a PowerPoint that detailed the many, many, many androgynous rockstars and artists who, in Pink’s words, “live their truth.”

As if Pink isn’t already a superstar and superwoman — making a PowerPoint on the why traditional ideals of beauty don’t matter? Yep, she’s a rad rockstar and a totally super-mama too. And that’s what makes Pink’s posts of her kiddos all the sweeter.
