It’s been a busy few months for singer and mom, Pink. She’s released her seventh album (her first in five years) and her first single from Beautiful Trauma has already been nominated for a Grammy. Before she leaves on her world tour in March, The 38-year-old mom of one will kick off another huge event: Super Bowl LII, where Pink will sing the National Anthem. That’s pretty much a touchdown in our books!
Pink is joining an exclusive club of Super Bowl entertainers, many of whom we already love because they’re fellow moms. In the last 10 years, we’ve seen performances by Idina Menzel, Alicia Keys, Renee Fleming, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks (expecting and due this spring). These ladies are proof that you can be a rockin’ diva, incredible entertainer, award-winning actress AND a beloved mama all at the same time. Even more so, we are seriously inspired by these moms’ ability to entertain us and still document their real life mom status on social media.
Pink will join mega entertainer Justin Timberlake for the Super Bowl Half Time Show on Sunday, Feb. 4. And we don’t know about you, but we’ve “got this feeling” that we’re ready to “get this party started” (see what we did there?). Don’t blame us if we just show up to watch the entertainment and forget about the game!
Are you tuning in to watch the game or the entertainment or both? Tell us in the comments below!
