We will start our day off with exploring the Chinese New Year traditions thru Art! Artists will create paper scrolls , lanterns , poetry , painting and more. This one-day workshop will teach art history , Chinese culture and many new art forms! Come welcome the Year of the Snake into the New Year!

$75.00 per day OR SIGN UP FOR A HALF DAY $40 ( Morning or Afternoon Options)

Our inaugural exhibit of original works of art by CHAP’s Art Club will be on display throughout the month of April with a special opening reception at CHAP’s new studio on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 5:30 – 7:30pm.CHAP’s popular Art Club programs provide fun and engaging art experiences to children with medical challenges outside of the hospital. Art Clubs meet monthly in the CHAP studio, giving children and teens with medical or other challenges a chance to express themselves and connect with others through creativity.In 2013, CHAP will provide over 6,000 healing arts experiences to children in the midst of critical/chronic illnesses and disabilities, and their families. Each week, CHAP’s mobile team of teaching artists bring creative, engaging art projects directly to hospital bedsides, playrooms and waiting rooms.
