Portland is home to some very cool dads. One part hero and two parts role model, our cool dads are an impressive array of men living, working and raising their kids in this fair city. So what makes these guys cool? They love their partners, successfully maintain a work/life balance, and they bring their A-game to their jobs. Read on to discover cool dads who make our city more awesome.

Renny Gleeson

Renny Gleeson, Global Director, Interactive Strategy at Wieden+Kennedy and Co-Founder, of Portland Incubator Experiment

This NW Portland resident and Dad to two sons is a busy man of business. He heads up interactive strategy globally at W+K, a mix of operations, creative strategy and innovation. In other words, Renny helps make great work now and prepare Wieden+Kennedy to make great work in the future. He also helped found the PIE, which assists tech start-ups in accelerating their business. When he’s not changing the shape of W+K’s current and future business or partnering with new businesses and tech start-ups, Renny is getting down to business taking his boys to Ground Kontrol, admiring their mad drawing skills or hanging out enjoying a good read with them. When does this man sleep? One of his big goals for 2013 is to get his boys to a Blazers game. There’s at least one other Cool Dad who will be super happy to hear that…

To all the Top Pops and Rad Dads out there in Portland, we salute you as well! Let us know who else we should add to our list in the comment section below.
