Tony Loupe

Tony Loupe, Owner, Billings Dance Studio

This Beaverton resident and devoted dad to two daughters is a proud man with good reason. He owns Billings Dance Center, which teaches 78 classes a week in tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, African, hip hop, break dancing, musical theatre and Acro. He has been running the show there literally for the last three years, teaching for twenty-three years and performing for thirty-one years. Whew! But that’s not even all. When Tony was a mere 16 years old he was chosen as a Junior Tap Master (one of only nine) and invited to tour the world tapping and entertaining the masses. Lastly, when Tony isn’t dancing or taking his girls to Disneyworld, Hawaii or on a bike ride, he is doing every single thing he can to raise funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis, a cause very near and dear to him, having lost his brother in 2010. Good on ya, Tony! Keep leading your own amazing dance, dance revolution.

To all the Top Pops and Rad Dads out there in Portland, we salute you as well! Let us know who else we should add to our list in the comment section below.
