Skate in your socks and watch live ice carving demos during Ice Adventures Jan. 19-21 at the Hands On Children’s Museum on Olympia’s East Bay!  Experience three days of frozen fun with a traveling sock skating “ice” rink. Play with faux snow, launch a snowball catapult, meet costumed ice princesses, explore a black light cave, melt Arctic ice to see what’s inside, and watch Dr. Science light ice on fire!

Celebrate winter all month long with engaging science activities including Arctic Ice Melt, Whale Songs and Kazoo making. In the MakeSpace, sew a mitten critter, experiment with circuit blocks & soldering, silkscreen your own t-shirt or tote bag, and learn finger knitting. During Nature Play, go on an animal scat investigation and learn about beaver dams. Make a new furry friend during PAWs to R.E.A.D. on Jan12. Join us for First Friday Night on Jan.4 to explore polar opposites.

Explore 150+ exciting exhibits at Olympia’s award-winning children’s museum. All activities are FREE with membership or admission. Visit
