Hayrides, Pumpkin Patches and Fun on the Farm
Apple cider. Pumpkins. Colors so vibrant that your camera will shed tears. Fall is no season to stay cooped up, so make like a tree and leave the house.
Head to Bauman’s Farm & Garden from September 28-October 31 for its annual Harvest Festival. You’ll celebrate the season with more than 25 attractions for all ages (mazes, zip lines, farm animals, pedal carts, a pumpkin patch), plus a market full of freshly picked produce. Be sure to watch huge orange pumpkins tip the scales at the Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off on October 5.
Then it’s off to Kruger’s Farm from October 1-31 for a crop of fun, including hayrides, pony rides, live music, face painting and U-pick pumpkins. Shop sustainably grown fruits and veggies – but not before losing yourself in the Cabaret Corn Maze. The maze comes alive on weekends with cabaret performers (jugglers, sword swallowers) and even features an outdoor movie theater and big top circus tent.
There’s just so much to fall for.
