Let’s dance, let’s shout! Shake you body down to the ground! There’s at least four musical/dancing events going on this weekend: Baby Loves Disco, Yo Gabba Gabba Live, a benefit concert to support Harper’s Playground, and a Jill Trenholm concert. If you’re thinking a more mellow experience is in the cards, we’ve got a few things for you too: a puppet show production of Cinderella, free Thanksgiving-themed crafts at Lakeshore Learning, and a children’s theater production of The Little Mermaid. Finally, a couple chances to get out and embrace your community—a grand opening celebration of Portland Green Parenting and the Portland holiday tree arrives at Pioneer Courthouse Square.

Saturday is the National Neighborhood Toy Store Day! Toy stores across the country will be celebrating the joy of play—plenty of toy stores in the Portland area will be participating. While the plans may vary depending on the store, the festivities may include face painting, balloon animals, musical entertainment, puppet shows, clowns, magicians, carnival games, crafts and contests.
