Hit Movies in the Park: Jumanji
The City of Vancouver and HAPO Community Credit Union are proud to provide free movies at parks across the city this summer! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy big screen entertainment. All movies are family friendly. Pre-movie activities start at 7 p.m. Movies start at dusk (exact time will vary).

This Friday catch Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. In a brand new Jumanji adventure, four high school students discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the game’s avatars. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji — you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago and change the way they think about themselves — or they’ll be stuck in the game forever. Green Drop Garage, Portland’s eco-friendly car repair shop announces Big Truck Day 2018. Big Truck Day is a free community event featuring trucks of all shapes and sizes. They’ll be trucks that take people into the air, trucks that go over large rocks and boulders, trucks that dump and trucks that put out fires. Kids and adults can climb aboard the trucks, explore and meet the individuals who operate them.

Join FACT Oregon for the second annual All Ability Tri4Youth; a fully accessible triathlon for ALL youth ages 8 to 26—with and without disability. Compete as an individual, team, or family team in a a 50 yard swim, two mile bike, and .5 mile run on a course with the option for use of adaptive equipment. The All Ability Tri4Youth is a fun, safe, accessible event with an emphasis on inclusion and community building.

All athletes are encouraged to create a fundraising page to honor the athlete and support the Tri4Youth. Prizes will be awarded to individual, team, and family team who raise the most funds!
