Don’t miss the 3rd annual SwapNPlay sponsored Preschool, Kindergarten and Activity Fair! This is a resource fair for families seeking school and activity options for their children. This event is open to the public for free and guests will be able to talk with representatives from many North and Northeast Portland organizations who offer preschools, camps, and other activities for preschool aged kids. Here is just a short list of a couple of the organizations that will be at this event: Little Root Preschool, Imagination Yoga with Linda, Smarty Pants, French American International School, Holy Cross, Magnolia Blossom, Wildwood Nature School, Friendly House, International School, and many more! Celebrate the Lunar New Year at Lan Su Chinese Garden
The gardens are the premiere place to celebrate Lunar New Year in Portland, with plenty of family friendly events throughout the week-long celebration. Join them for the opening ceremonies on January 28th for lots of cultural treats like lion dances, folk art demonstrations, children’s crafts, a chance for your children to put their wish on the Wishing Tree, martial art performances and Calligraphy demonstrations. This is the top festival for Portland’s Chinese community—last year it drew over 8,000 people!
