Art is meant to inspire, entertain and provoke. And this weekend is full of opportunities to expose your child to the joys and magic of theater and music. Local favorite Tears of Joy Theatre opens its season with an amazing production of Pinocchio, Baby Loves Disco will rock Pioneer Place, meet Flappy the Chicken at The Curious Garden, and indie music darling Laura Veirs (who also happens to be a Portland resident) is back with a beautiful collection of children’s music that will delight listeners of all ages. Catch her for free at the local release party. Encore! Encore!
