14th Annual DaVinci Arts Fair
Attend the annual, well-loved, fundraising event, the da Vinci Arts Fair, at da Vinci Arts Middle School. This fair brings local artisans, craft-makers, and student artists together presenting their work for sale to the Portland community. Free admission, live music, holiday wares, interactive art spaces for adults and children, and a variety of food and drink for purchase make this an event not to be missed.

Over 70 local and student artists participate side-by-side in this once-a-year festival, presenting 2D and 3D art, ceramics, jewelry, paper goods, trinkets, textiles, leather crafts, and much more. Souper Soup Sunday

ScanFair – Nordic Christmas Market
Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden – all Nordic countries love to celebrate the Holidays, which bring joy to the short, dark days of winter. Traditions run deep in the hearts and lives of Nordic peoples, and they come alive here in Portland each year at ScanFair. This is the 34th year that Nordic Northwest  celebrates the sights, sounds, tastes and traditions of a Nordic Christmas.More than ninety vendors will showcase delicious foods, arts, crafts and other goods from Scandinavia. Milwaukie Umbrella Parade and Tree Light
The holiday season is right around the corner and so is one of Milwaukie’s most cherished events, the Umbrella Parade & Tree Lighting. The community is invited to gather onDec. 1 from 3:45 to 6:30 p.m. for the annual tradition of parading down Main Street with decorated umbrellas to City Hall to celebrate the tree lighting.

Once again, prizes are awarded for the best decorated umbrellas. No entry form is required to participate in the contest. Members of the Milwaukie Arts Committee will judge all the decorated umbrellas and notify the winners, who will receive a fantastic prize package. Other highlights of the event include a visit from Santa Claus, a performance by the Dickens Carolers, free hot cocoa and spiced apple cider, delicious cookies provided by Bob’s Red Mill, the Franz Bakery Grilled Cheese Machine cooking up free grilled cheese bites, and much more!
