Multnomah County Library offers several Valentine’s Day events that are perfect for the family to enjoy. Choose from any of the below events at your local library this February.
Craft a Valentine and Help Someone in Need
Drop in to Midland Library on Sunday, February 11th from 3 p.m. to craft a valentine with someone you love, for someone you love! While there you will have the opportunity to make donations to organizations helping people in need. Donations are optional. All crafting supplies are provided.

Craft Heart ‘Felt’ Valentines
Up your Valentine’s game by crafting a felt valentine with LeBrie Rich of PenFelt at the Troutdale Library. This is a great opportunity for the family to craft together while allowing young kids the opportunity to practice cutting and simple sewing skills.

Bottle and Bottega Art Uncorked Family Painting Party
Enjoy a Family Painting Party! Bottle and Bottega have a lot of options throughout the month of February that are perfect for a ladies night out or date night. However, if you want to celebrate the holiday with your kiddos, you’ll want to visit during one of their Sunday Family Painting Parties scheduled on February 11th and 18th.
Grab the whole family and visit the studio as you paint a piece by a local artist! Recommended for children over the age of 6. Designed specifically--but not exclusively--for pairs, this event allows each person to paint one side of a diptych (a painting on two panels) on their own 10x10 canvas.
Ticket price includes all paint supplies, instruction, aprons and an 10X10 take-home canvas!

The Merry Kitchen Valentine’s Day Treats
Enjoy seeing your children light up as they learn kitchen skills all while creating delicious Valentine’s Day treats. The Merry Kitchen has four classes set aside especially for the holiday based on age group with classes spanning from ages 3 through 14. The class will cover treats such as chocolate covered cherries, heart-shaped pizzas, pretzel wands, and more.

Skate Date at Oak’s Park
