Springtime in Portland may mean it’s raining cats and dogs, but that shouldn’t stop you from pouring on the fun this season.

Puddle jump over to Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) where you’ll find literally hundreds of classes, activities and events to keep your kids happy and entertained all springtime long. Here’s why they’re tops:

  • Have a toddler who’s into messy art? How about a grade-schooler who wants to let loose playing basketball? THPRD has it all—from activities for moms and babies to sports classes and creative camps, you’ll find the perfect spring activity for your clan.
  • THPRD’s events calendar is stacked with family fun. Check out their underwater egg hunt (seriously!) on Friday, March 23, and their more traditional Spring Egg hunt happening Saturday, March 31.
  • The district spans 50 square miles and THPRD even has a skate park (for when the rain lets up). With nearly 100 parks with active amenities to enjoy, you’re guaranteed to find a location and activity suited to your family.

Spring registration is open now. Click here to view THPRD’s entire line up.

Bring it on spring!

Hear What Other Parents Are Saying:

“We feel so blessed to live in the THPRD district. We’re astounded by the number and variety of activities for all members of the family and how well THPRD takes care of its parks and facilities. Great job, THPRD!”

“THPRD has always had a family feeling that connects people to parks & nature trails— you can literally catch beavers at their work in building mini dams right here in Beaverton, Oregon! It’s a happy place to be. Having raised five children it’s been a go-to place where a kid can be a kid and more.”
