Founded in 1981, Chinese American International School was the first school of its kind and today remains one of the few independent Pre-K through eighth grade English-Chinese immersion programs in the U.S. Since its beginnings 30 years ago, the school has grown to a campus with two libraries, two computer labs, four science labs, an art studio, a health center, multiple multipurpose rooms, a gymnasium, two playgrounds and a Pre-K campus located 10 minutes from the main campus.
CAIS offers a variety of Chinese immersion camps for children from three to thirteen years old. No prior Chinese language knowledge needed. Choose from two summer sessions and help your child learn, reinforce, expand, create positive relationships and have fun through dance, technology, classroom time and field trips. We pay special attention to the abilities and needs of our campers to give them a sound footing in Chinese while making sure that they feel comfortable.
Session one: June 18 – July 13, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Session two: July 16 – August 10, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. To enroll in one of the programs for ages 3-13, please visit www.cais.org/auxiliary/mandarin-camp.
